Redgate Beach is located south of Margaret River and is spectacular when waves are crashing over the rocks offshore from Redgate headland.
This view is from near the memorial for the lives lost when the SS. Georgette was shipwrecked in early 1877. The wreck lies 5 metres below the surface towards the northern end of the bay near Isaacs Rocks. Many lives were saved by the young Grace Bussell and local indigenous man Samuel Isaacs (Yebble) when they rode their horses in to the surf to rescue people.
Blue Lawn plywood panels feature images of native birds and plants as well as iconic locations. They make ideal gifts or souvenirs. They are printed by hand using water-based inks on sustainable sourced Australian hoop pine. In the time before plastics, this timber was used extensively for butter boxes. It is still used for making baby cots and wooden toys. It is a very good surface to print on.
